ABOUT ME!

Hi, I’m Scott — a hands-on engineer and technical leader from Auburn, California. I grew up taking apart and rebuilding anything electrical I could get my hands on, which naturally led me toward robotics, automation, and control systems. That curiosity turned into a career focused on improving how things work — making systems more reliable, efficient, and intelligent.

I currently serve as the Director of Research, Development & Technology at CryoBuilt, where I lead technical operations and product support across engineering, manufacturing, and service. Over the years, I’ve specialized in system integration, IoT connectivity, and PLC Integration, developing scalable solutions for industrial and commercial control systems.

I graduated from the Sierra College Mechatronics program and have spent the last decade designing UL-compliant control panels, implementing Modbus TCP/IP and RTU networks, and creating tools that simplify diagnostics and maintenance. I’m passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems — whether that’s improving field reliability, optimizing automation, or helping a support team perform at its best.

This site is where I share some of my projects, ideas, and experiments in robotics and mechatronics. I hope they inspire others to explore, create, and refine their own systems. Feel free to reach out or connect — I’m always up for talking about engineering, problem-solving, and building things that last.
